Onions

Onions

You can be the moon that lit up the nightsky,
You can be the sun waking everyone up,
You can be the birds flying in the sky,
You can be a god that everyone will glorify.

You can be the salt to pair up with my pepper,
You can be the hero and I can be your side kick,
You can be anything you wanted to be,
Only promise me one thing,

I want you not to be the person that will make me cry like the onions.

Shades of Petals

Shades of Petals
By: Anna Victoria Jolloso

It was a wonderful day, for a fresh start
The flowers bloom and the sun shines,
My, what a beautiful day to find love.
I see the colors and today the color was red,
Deep and mysterious red, the color of love and roses.
On the 2nd month every women are joyous to receive these pretty flowers,
One for “I” 2nd for “love” 3rd for “you”
3 roses meant a lot to a lady and a bunch of it was insane
The beauty was illuminating the eyes,
the meaning touched many hearts,
 but every rose has its thorn.
~~~~~~
It was a wonderful day, for a fresh start
The flowers bloom and the sun shines,
My, what a beautiful day refresh and start,
I see the colors and today the color was yellow,
A brilliant yellow for an outstanding beauty of a sunflower.
Sunflowers bloom at dawn and reach its full bloom before sunrise,
It turns facing east at morning directly to the sun,
Sunflower stands for unity and chances
New day, New start and new life.
~~~~~~~
It was a wonderful day, for a fresh start
The flowers bloom and the sun shines,
My, what a beautiful day to lift up my spirits.
I see the colors and today the color was white
Vintage white, symbolizes purity and decency
It’s the color of heavens and literally the clouds
But on the other side a white flower meant sadness,
Placed on a coffin of a beloved someone who passed away,
White may also mean tears.
~~~~~~~
Such beauty that stands for everything
Not only seasonal but every day,
Every color and type was magnificent in such unique way
Were so blessed that we are beautiful in our own way
Not by the race, color or status in life,
But in just being real and natural
Living the life the way we wanted it to be.
